Special shipping terms
Terms agreed between carrier and shipper, confirmed before dispatch
1. Truthful declaration and prohibited goods
- Goods description and brand status must be declared truthfully on all routes; counterfeits, medical and military goods are checked along the way. If anything is concealed, all consequences fall on the shipper and the carrier bears no liability.
- Delays caused by special circumstances carry no late compensation; the time of loss is not counted.
- Prohibited goods are not accepted: fur and leather, e-cigarettes, drones, mining rigs, phones, computers, laptops, liquids, powders, knives, chemicals, counterfeit perfume and cosmetics, supplements, medicines, tea and similar. Special cargo must be agreed in advance.
2. Insurance premium
- The shipper pays an insurance premium of 1–3% of the declared value, tiered by declared value per kg for truck shipments.
- Declared value 1–30 $ per kg — 1% of total declared value.
- Declared value 30–50 $ per kg — 2% of total declared value.
- Declared value 50–100 $ per kg — 3% of total declared value.
- Cargo declared above 100 $ per kg is not accepted.
3. Compensation
- Insured, total loss: paid in full up to the insured sum.
- Insured, partial loss: paid at the insured sum per lost kilogram.
- Uninsured: truck 3 $/kg (clothing 5 $/kg), rail 3 $/kg, consolidated container/trailer 3 $/kg. Where the actual value is lower, the actual value is paid.
4. No compensation is paid when
- The shipper deliberately concealed cargo information.
- The packing list provided by the shipper contains errors.
- The shipper has not paid the freight.
5. Packing and force majeure
- Cargo must be packed in a way suited to its nature before dispatch. Damage, spillage, loss or water damage caused by packing is not the carrier’s liability.
- In force majeure — natural disasters, government actions, abnormal public events — the cargo is not eligible for compensation of any kind.
6. Acceptance
- The consignee checks quantity, appearance and condition on site.
- If packaging is damaged, photograph it on the spot and keep the evidence.
- After the cargo is accepted and taken away, damage and shortage claims are not accepted.
These are the agreed special terms. The contract and the confirmed invoice prevail; terms are confirmed before signing.
